Binbir Gece ("Thousand and one nights") is a Turkish TV series produced by Turkish TV channel Kanal D. It stars Bergüzar Korel, Halit Ergenç and Tardu Flordun. It is the Turkish version of the 1993 drama film Indecent Proposal, which starred Robert Redford, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson.Currently being aired in Azerbaijan,Bulgaria and Romania. The TV Series run through 3 seasons and was translated in many languages and broadcasted to many TV channel.
The story is about Sherazad who is a talented architecture working in big construction company party owned by Anur Aksal. She is a mum of a young boy who suffer from Luchemia and needs an urgent and very costly surgery. She desprately tried to find ways to borrow money for the surgery. Only her boss Anur, who is already secretly attracted to her, accepted to land her the money for the price of one-night stand with him. Ignoring the real situation of Sherazad, Anur took advantage of her desprate need of money. Sherazad's acceptance of the wired transaction got him desapointed as he liked her since they meet for the first time and he thought that she was different from the other selfish women.
After that night, Onur became totally attracted to Sherazad and could not stop thinking about her. When they travelled together for business, he porposed another time the same offer for the more money than before but Sherazad got mad and decided to try to find another job and try to forget that night. Onur tried despreately to appologize for his behaviour during that trip especially when he discovred the real reason which pushed her to accept his indecent proposal. Anur got upset for what he made her endure professionally and personally and became more and more attached to her. Convinced that he can not leave without her, Onur asked Sherazad for marriage and begged her to take all the time to think about his proposition. He expressed to her how deeply he is in love with her and how he regreted what he did before. He did his best making her love him and accepting to marry him and what she did. Things became complicated when Anur's mother refused to approve their marriage but she would approve later when she saw how his son is attached to Sherazad.
Many events will happen later among them the run away of Sherazad during the wedding ceremony when a lady pretended that Anur did the same indecent porposal to her. Many events will occur and give a lot of suspense to the TV serie.
